Exemplary is a Piece of CAKE!

Wow! The fourth six weeks has come and gone. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. We are counting down for TAKS.

Your child may need some additional help with his/her TAKS preparation. Your child’s teacher may contact you about different tutorial programs. Please help your child by sending him/her to these tutorials. Our goal is to do anything necessary to help your child be successful, but we can only achieve this goal with your help. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or me.

Seventh grade will begin our testing season March 3^rd with the Writing TAKS followed by 5^th and 8^th grades Math TAKS April 6^th and Reading TAKS April 7^th. The week of April 26^th is our big testing week. The entire schedule will be published on the web site soon.

We recently celebrated the accomplishments of 47 students at AMS, who had perfect attendance for the first semester. Way to go students! Way to go parents!

Alpine Middle School students will be competing in the Regional History Fair at Sul Ross State University February 19^th. Good luck, students!
